How to backup Candy Crush data before installing the iOS 7 update on your iPhone and iPad

Backup Candy Crush with iCloud

Backing up Candy Crush is the default setting in iCloud, Apple's cloud service that provides iPhone and iPad users with 5GB of free storage, but you should double-check before installing iOS 7 just in case:

1.Tap the Settings app on your device.
2.Tap iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage.
3.Select your device from the list, which will also show others devices if you're backing them up to your            iCloud account.
4.Find Candy Crush Saga in the Backup Options list that appears and make sure it's set to On. If it's set to     Off, tap it to toggle the switch to On.
5.Go back to Storage & Backup and tap Back Up Now. Note that this will backup anything else that's set      to On, not just Candy Crush.

Backup Candy Crush with Facebook

If you are logged in and connected to Facebook while playing Candy Crush on your iPhone or iPad, your data is automatically backed up and synced. Even if you delete the game from your device, your progress will be there when you reinstall it and connect to Facebook again.
